Behind every brass work of art is team of skillful Tunisian artisans. These men have been doing their work ever since they were young. Their experience is unmatched. The precision and craftiness required to produce these ravishing works is exceptional. Their workshop is located in the heart of one of the main Medina Souks of Tunisia. They are at the epicenter of all the culture. Every work of art from the shop is enriched with a traditional style. Every style, design, and blueprint, has been passed down for generations. The men can skillfully craft many works of brass from hand chiseled trays,platters and brass teapots to copper bowls and ornaments. Mehriz, a member of the workshop, has grown up watching his father go to work creating wonderful works of brass and hammered copper.. He himself has inherited the talent, and now leads the team. For Mehriz, crafting these items is like playing an instrument. The sound of metal chiseling and being hammered is music to his ears. Mehriz crafts with such rhythm and flow, he is fully indulged in creating his functional pieces of art.
